FloodResilienCity embraces new ways of communication
The FRC project now provides a Youtube channel as well as a Flickr and Twitter account. These new communication tools enable the project partners to share interesting videos, pictures and news about their projects and progress much more easily.




This project contributes to a more cohesive EU society because it is based on the cooperation of people from different countries to work on a common topic that touches the lives of EU-citizens.

In order to give more ‘room for the river’ and avoid future flooding, in the Dutch city of Nijmegen the dike at Lent along the river Waal will be replaced 350 meters land inwards, leaving an island in the middle of the river.
