Politicians from Orléans visit the Flemish Environment Agency and two Dutch Room for the River projects
In June, politicians from the French Communauté d’Agglomeration Orleans-Val de Loire (AgglO) visited the Flemish Environment Agency in Leuven, as well as two Room for the River projects: Lent and Overdiep. Bradford Flood Awareness Questionnaire
The City of Bradford asked members of Council staff to complete a Flood Awareness Questionnaire that is designed to provide information to the city on how much people know about flooding and flood risk within the Bradford District, what information they would like to be provided with and how they would like that information presented. » Read more


Challenging restoration of Leuven’s quay walls

In order to give more ‘room for the river’ and avoid future flooding, in the Dutch city of Nijmegen the dike at Lent along the river Waal will be replaced 350 meters land inwards, leaving an island in the middle of the river.
